Match Review LS19 | Melaka FC 0-0 Selangor FC | Malaysia Super League 2025/26 | Disappointed but Chin Up

Selangor FC took home a point from Hang Jebat Stadium after a 0-0 draw against Melaka FC in the 19th round of the 2025/26 Super League yesterday.

The Red Giants dominated the match with 69% ball possession and doubled the number of attempts compared to their opponents. The team also earned 11 corners, yet the score remained goalless until the final whistle.

According to Kim Pan-gon, Head Coach of Selangor FC, he did not place blame on anyone and urged the players to keep looking ahead.

“It was a tough match, and we are very disappointed not to get the result we deserved. We created many chances, but the finishing was lacking, and when facing a team defending deep in their penalty area, it becomes very challenging. However, these are the issues we need to overcome if we want to maintain a stronger position,” said Kim Pan-gon.

“The players are naturally disappointed, but they must continue to focus forward. I cannot blame anyone because they have performed exceptionally well in the previous ten matches. What is important now is to learn from this situation and keep fighting,” he added.

Next week, Selangor FC will host Imigresen FC at MBPJ Stadium on Sunday, 8 March at 10:00PM for their next Super League fixture. Let’s all fill the stadium for the final home game during Ramadan, tickets are available here.

The management of Selangor FC also expresses their gratitude to the supporters who stood by the team yesterday. See you next week at MBPJ Stadium!
